Once again, it was an uncontroversial and quiet week in the FTSE100 directors’ remuneration report world. Last week, three March year-end companies published their DRRs and two companies held their AGMs.

The three FTSE100 companies that published their DRRs in the week commencing 16 June were:

  • Babcock International Group
  • Johnson Matthey
  • Severn Trent

The shareholder voting at the two FTSE100 AGMs was straightforward and uncontentious.

Whitbread received votes in favour of 99.4% for the remuneration policy and 99.1% for the implementation report.

International Consolidated Airlines Group, as a Spanish incorporated company, follows different regulations than the UK incorporated entities, meaning a separate annual report on remuneration was voted on. That annual report on remuneration was passed with a 99.0% majority, although a large number of shareholders abstained from voting in respect of that resolution (as against the other resolutions at the AGM).

This week, the three remaining December FTSE100 year-end companies that are yet to hold their AGMs, namely Coca-Cola, RBS and WPP, all hold their AGMs on Wednesday 25 June. We then have Tesco’s AGM on Friday 27 June.

Our single source document contains details of all the voting results and DRRs published so far, and will continue to be updated as and when AGMs are held and DRRs are released.
