After the rush of Directors’ Remuneration Reports published last week, this week has been a bit quieter. We are left with only a handful of 31 December year end companies yet to publish their reports. The 10 companies that released their DRRs last week were:
- BG Group
- Capita
- Coca-Cola HBC
- IMI
- Mondi
- Old Mutual
- Prudential
- Reckitt Benckiser Group
- Resolution
- St James’s Place
As the number of DRRs being released decreases, the number of AGMs taking place increases. AMEC had its AGM this week (with 81.3% of shareholders approving the policy report and 88.4% voting in favour of the implementation report) and next week Admiral, BP and Smith & Nephew will be holding theirs. The week after that four companies’ DRRs will be voted on, with a further seven the week after that (despite the fact Easter results in a short working week). In total 19 FTSE 100 companies will have held their AGMs by the end of this month.
It will be interesting to see how shareholders react to the recently released DRRs and if the trend of the Implementation Report receiving a higher vote than the Policy Report continues.
Our single source document will be providing details of the AGM voting, along with links to the DRRs released and details of the publication (if any) of DRR addenda.
